Romina Cerezo
Evolve Play | Train Manager
Romina is a mother of four children who have all been active in sports while growing up. She currently holds an Associate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution Certificate a Responsible Adult Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy. She currently is working towards an Applied Leadership Certificate with JIBC.
She has more than 10 years of supervisory experience in both the public and private sectors.
I volunteered as a PREP teacher for Precious Blood Parish for 4 years, working with a child with a learning disability and assisting the Grade 7 class. I also work closely with Evolve Martial Arts as a consultant, which is primarily owned and managed by my two children.
She is excited about this new adventure in her career as a Manager and/or Teacher for Evolve PLAY | TRAIN. Romina believes that her management skills will be put to good use, and she looks forward to working closely with families and their children.

Rain Erece
Supervisor & Evolve Hoops Head Instructor
A father of three with a strong background in childcare and a degree in Business Management. Rain is currently working towards a personal training certificate. He has over five years of experience caring for children, making him an ideal fit for his role as an Evolve PLAY teacher. With a 30-year history of competitive basketball and coaching at a local club in Vancouver, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his position as a basketball instructor at Evolve TRAIN. His passion for teaching and love for working with young children make him an invaluable addition to our team.

Aagam Sidhu
Evolve Hoops Instructor
Aagam is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts at Kwantlen Polytechnic University with the hope of obtaining a Master’s and even a PhD in the arts. His ultimate goal is to become a professor or designer one day.
He has been playing basketball for 13 years, starting when he was 4 years old. He played point guard on my elementary and high school basketball teams.
In addition to basketball, he has played soccer for 7 years, including playing on his high school team. He has also played volleyball for 4 years and weightlifting for 2 years.
Apart from working at Evolve Play | Train, he is a certified personal trainer and trains clients on the weekends at their gym of choice. He helps them achieve their fitness and health goals with workout routines and specific diet plans.
He is excited to share his passion for basketball with others at Evolve PLAY|TRAIN. He believes that basketball is a great teacher of life lessons, such as teamwork and discipline. It is a game that can help develop many skills.

Charyze Cerezo
Evolve Dance Squad Head Instructor
Charyze possesses a remarkable background in gymnastics, having excelled in various dance styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical Contemporary, and Modern Dance. She has achieved high distinctions in the Royal Academy of Dance exams. She’s also represented Team Canada at the World Championship and currently engages in cheerleading. With extensive experience as an Operations Manager and Dance Teacher, they are well-equipped to instruct Dance (Jazz/Ballet) at Evolve PLAY | TRAIN while emphasizing community building.

Shivali Ratnam
Evolve Dance Squad Hip-Hop Instructor
A professional Bollywood dancer with over 11 years of experience in competing and performing, Shivali has also explored and learned various types of dances, and hip-hop has been her favourite. In addition to her formal education and training, she has 6-7 years of experience as a dance instructor and holds a Responsible Adult Certificate.
She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with young kids to keep them motivated with their talents. With her background in education and talent for working with diverse groups of students, she feels she is in a great position to make a positive impact.
She is excited to share the incredible mental and physical benefits of this athletic art form, Dance with my students at Evolve PLAY | TRAIN. Shivali hopes to inspire them to find the same passion and happiness that she found in dance.

Breann Murray
Evolve Ninja - Acro/Parkour and Evolve Gymnastics Instructor
Breann has always been a fitness enthusiast since my childhood days and has had the pleasure of participating in many sports. However, her heart was always set on gymnastics. She trained for 15 years and even qualified for the BC championships at the age of 17.
She believes that being active is not only a great way to stay healthy but also a fun way to learn valuable life skills. It teaches us discipline, patience, and perseverance in a less intense manner.
She is excited to help her students at Evolve PLAY | TRAIN stay motivated and achieve their fitness goals and she’s here to help them every step of the way.

Kai Cerezo
Evolve Ninja Instructor
Kai is a dedicated student at Holy Cross Regional High School with a strong background in martial arts, particularly Taekwondo and Kickboxing. Holding a 2nd-degree black belt in Taekwondo and several awards from BC Taekwondo tournaments, he also brings his experience in soccer, track, Ultimate Frisbee, and summer league Ultimate. He has been teaching Taekwondo for a while now and is eager to contribute his expertise in martial arts and other sports to Evolve PLAY | TRAIN while continuing to enhance his own skills.
